Michael Phelps is considered one of the greatest Olympians of all time by winning 14 Olympic gold medals, the most number won by the Olympian. Phelps broke 37 world records in swimming. He also holds the record for the most gold medals won in a single Olympics, who won eight gold in Beijing Olympic games in 2008.
