Oldest Person in the Philippines
By admin on Feb 17, 2010 in Amazing stories
When I was still a kid, I remember I was still in grade five at that time when we visited our relatives in Tigbauan, Iloilo. I have a grandmother there who is a cousin of my grandfather’s mother. She was 105 years old and still alive at that time although she was in her a wheelchair already. I didn’y know how old she was when she passed away. According to our relatives in Tigbauan, we have relative who died at the age of 108 and the oldest was 115 years old. But during that visit I never forget the one of her cousins who was 95 years old was still drinking beer with my uncle during our visit. He could still walk, hear and can still perform small household chores. I know maybe a big contributor why they live that long was because of the simple life in the province where they didn’t have as much stress and pollutants. Not like today where some people are just using anti aging products to look young but if not for these, maybe the younger generation already would look old even in their younger ages.
I wonder who is the oldest person living in the Philippines by now?
