GPS in the Philippines
By admin on Nov 20, 2009 in Amazing stories
Last October, my brother in-law visited us in the Philippines to attend our religious activity that we usually observe out of Metro Manila annually. He asked me if I was already familiar with the place out of town since I would be the one to drive. He asked me if I have map with GPS already available in the country.
I told him that there is no need to have map or gps most of the time because we Filipinos would usually just ask around from someone along the road for the right way. This is so unlike in Europe where he must have his own map or GPS since nobody will entertain you or guide you on your way. That’s the nice thing about Filipinos. We are helpful and approachable.
