Most of the people are saying that June is the month of weddings. But in my experience, December is the when the most number of people are getting married. Maybe this is the time of the year when relatives and friends from other countries are coming home.

Did you know that South Korea was listed in the new world record for having the biggest mass wedding in the world? There were 7,500 South Koreans and overseas couples exchanged marriage vows on October 2009. Thousands were wearing new tuxedo and other formal wear in a ceremony organized by the Unification Church. Reverend Sun Myung Moon, the 89-year-old founder of the controversial church, officiated at the “True Parents’ Cosmic Blessing Ceremony” at the church in Sun Moon.
