World’s Largest Salad

We missed Baguio City this year due to typhoon Pepeng that has blocked three roads to Baguio during our planned trip to the City. Hopefully next year or some other time again we can visit the place. My wife Denice really loves the place as she loves salads and she even wanted to visit the City during the City’s 92nd charter anniversary where the City prepared the Worlds Largest Salad. It was a 916.8-kilogram mix of assorted vegetables and were mixed with 52 and able to feed 4,861 people who paid P20 each for a 225-gram cup of salad-over a span of six hours with the 40 kilograms left. Maybe if she’s there she would be needing appetite suppressant for this.

This salad is believed to break the record previously set in Salt Lake Utah - a Caesar’s salad that fed only 1,000 people.
