It is according to the Independence Hall Association in Philadelphia. It was a successful bank robbery who took $162,821. It was a very big money during that time.

One of the very famous bank robbers is John Dillinger because of his being a robin hood of his time. His life was even featured in a movie but he died on July 22, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois when he was cornered by FBI.
