I notice an increase of motorcycle accidents these days. Just try to watch the evening news on TV. I would watch an average of two reported motorcycle accidents a day. This is referring to just the reported accident, take note. I am sure more than that happen everyday. I even had a chance to pass by three motorcycle accidents happening at the same time in one street alone along Mc Kinley Road couple of months ago. I wonder what are the reasons behind the accidents. For sure responsible driving is the one issue here. There is an increase of motorcycle use as mode of transportation now. With the price affordability anybody with a minimum down payment can already have this two-wheel vehicle. Yes. even though some are just new drivers. They don’t even have to have knowledge on road safety or even just a simple road signs. Others who have only student permits believe that they already have the right to drive.

Driving this two-wheel vehicle is easy but to be responsible while driving is a big question. Driving without helmet, under the influence of liquor and over loading really is scary. I am not sure your car insurance will cover all your expenses and liabilities if it found out that you have an accident without all of this.

Hopefully the government agencies responsible on this will fully implement the strict compliances of all the road safety and laws so that more lives will be saved.
