Imelda Marcos Shoes Collection

I will never forget my aunt who loves shoes so much. I remember every time she would arrive from a semester break back in her college days, I would always see her carrying a big suitcase full of shoes — maybe more than 2o pairs of them.
But I am sure she’s nothing compared to the former Philippines first Lady Imelda Marcos who believed that after the Marcos family fled Malacañang Palace during the first people power revolution, Imelda was found to have left behind 15 mink coats, 508 gowns, 888 handbags and 1060 pairs of shoes. According to some story this is just a part of her more than 3000 pairs of shoe collection. I am not sure if she had Dansko womens shoesalso but they are certainly expensive and mostly designers shoes.
Although she ranks 58th in the Australian Magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Women in the World,” Newsweek on the other hand listed her also in 2009 as one of the “Greediest People of All Time”.
