There is a current debate now in the Philippine Congress about the reproductive bill that is currently passed by some of the congressman and congresswomen.

The bill revolves around the use of birth control as it has been sighted that population is the main root cause of poverty in the country.

While the bill is not yet approved as a law in the country, it is noteworthy that in Johansburg, South Africa, over 1,000 pregnant women has set a new world record, for the largest gathering of women that are about to give birth.

There are more than 2000 pregnant mothers who pre-registered but only 1,146 came to participate to gather in one roof, others may have already given birth and maybe some of their babies are already sleeping on their crib bedding. Only 1,146 were verified by independent adjudicators to enter the Guinness Book of World Records.
