Sen. Joe Bidden - Obama’s Running Mate
By admin on Aug 24, 2008 in Politics
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama officially picks Joe Biden as his running mate. According to him, he is “a leader who is ready to step in and be president.”
The two appeared together with their families at a huge rally in Springfield, Illinois, their first joint appearance since Obama tapped Biden to be the Democrats’ vice presidential candidate.
Barack Obama named Delaware Sen. Joe Biden as his vice presidential running mate, balancing his ticket with a seasoned congressional veteran well-versed in foreign policy and defense issues.
Even though during a Democratic Primary debate, Joe Biden, when referring to Barack Obama’s experience to be President, said “the presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.” Do you think Biden now believes that Obama has the experience to be President?
