I was hooked lately in downloading movies, where I use a program that downloads files using the BitTorrent protocol. For those of you who still don’t or have not yet heard about it, BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used to distribute large amounts of data (like movies, software, programs). The initial distributor of the complete file or collection acts as the first seed. Each peer that downloads the data also uploads them to other peers.

Aside from a faster connection, you also need more memory for you to download the file more faster. It sometimes takes me more than three days to download one (1) movie alone, while my brother in-law told me he could download four (4) movies a day.

There is a lot of torrent website nowadays where you can download movies, music albums, software and other programs.
