To those who never went to college but want to finish a degree, don’t let your age be the a barrier to your pursuing this aspiration. There are a lot of ways now to have better education and finish your college course. There are online college courses and special trainings offered for those who want to pursue their studies.
Take 95-year old Nola Oacs as an example as she set a new world record on this. A grand mother from Fort Kays State, Kansas, she is the oldest person to ever receive a bachelor’s degree. She received her degree from Governor Kathleen Sebelius at Fort Hays State after she took her first class in 1930. And now, she will be graduating next to her 22-year-old granddaughter. Both the CBS Evening News and the program Inside Edition featured her story.
