What will be our bases so that we can call one country rich. I am sure many of us will say according to popularity of certain nation. How can we measure the richness of one country? How can we identify or compare countries resources and income so that we may able to conclude that this country is a rich one?

One country can be measured its richness by its gross domestic product (GDP) at purchasing power parity (PPP) per capita, the value of all final goods and services produced within a nation in a given year divided by the average population for the same year.

Thhis is the reason why CIA Factbook has their list of top 10 richest countries in the world and here is the list base on GDP and PPP:

Hope the Philippines will there soon, but it can happen only if corruption in the government will stop. The only list where the Philippines got the top is the most corrupt country in Asia. But I did not like to believe in that report. I know there are some but not all are corrupt. Maybe the people are also the ones teaching government employee to do corruption, and yet they are the ones complaining.

Do anything may it be business transaction or whatever business you have in the government legally. Don’t be corrupt government employee just to escape from doing it in a hard way or to earn more money. Do some action or report if you see anyone doing corruption. I am sure lmost 50% government fund that goes to corruption will stop and in the future we will be in the list of the most richest country.
