Last year 2007 the Sport Illustrated Magazines released there a list containing the rank of 50 top earning American athletes. It is believed that this income is taken from the player or athletes’ income from winnings, bonuses and salary. As well all know, athletes earn good money out of their talents. As what Manny Paquiao will get in his latest fight with Marquez. This is estimated at about $2.45 million on pay per view income alone, and will dwarf his $4 million earnings received from his last fight with Barrera.
Last year, boxer Oscar de la Joya hit the second spot in the list second to Tiger Woods who got $112 million from winnings and endorsements followed by NBA player Shaquel O Neal and Kobe Briant.
