Highest Income Generating Music Artist

I’m sure most of us love music, and others said music adds meaning to their life. A world with out music is a lonely planet. Music makes the world go round. Music, as I learned, is an art form consisting of sound and silence. Elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, structure, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture.

When we are alone sometimes, whatever moods we are experiencing are somehow affected by music. For me in particular, I love all kinds of music, it depends on my moods. Rock if I’m doing something and I need to be inspired  to do things fast. Love music if I am in love. Opera or classic songs if I’m alone resting. Rap sometimes and reggae if I’m driving. I do compose songs and play guitar and piano especially when I was still single.

Forbes compiled a list of pop’s biggest cash received. This list is about how recording artists generated in U.S. music sales and North American concert grosses in 2007. Forbes estimates, which don’t calculate how much income each artist pocketed, include concert revenue data from Pollstar, music sales tallies from Nielsen SoundScan and pricing information from NPD Group. The numbers are meant to provide a snapshot, not a complete picture —revenue from licensing deals, merchandise sales and mobile sales aren’t included.
