Its that time of the year again for the 80th Annual Academy awards. I always watch Oscars since I was in  high school. Everytime I’d get a chance to. I do as I  know that there will be always be an Oscar Annual Academy Nights even a replay I set my time to watch. Maybe because I am a part time film critic by heart. Since in high school years I would rent and watch a movie and check if it was nominated in Oscars or other film giving award body.

I don’t have my personal pick this  time as to who’s gonna win those awards unlike some previous years because I’ve been busy for the past months  Let’s just compare on Monday on who will the winners be. Note that Monday here in the Philippines is still Sunday in the US.

But here are my guesses: for best actor maybe Tommy Lee Jones of “In the Valley of Elay” or Johnny Depp of “Sweeny Top” — they’re both the best in those movies. For the best actress maybe Laura Linney of the movie “The Savages” and my best picture will be  Michael Clayton. Let’s watch Oscars, it will be hosted by John Stewart.
