BPI Family Bank - Paypal Code

For the list of banks with bank codes for Paypal, BPI Family is not Included in the list. BPI Family Bank is different from BPI bank. I just got so lucky I was able to ask the teller personally where she got to call the Bank officer for such bank code. Here is the routing no. or BPI Family Bank code for Paypal: 021000021. Hope this helps you guys!

hi! i am very happy to announce that i have successfully transferred my paypal to my bpi family bank account using the bank code above!!! weeee!!!

i will be opening a unionbank account because i’ve heard that there are no charges sa unionbank. incidentally, i am used my eon card to verify my account in paypal.

i have a bpi family bank peso savings account. i transferred my paypal last aug. 6 and got my money aug. 8 (less the P150 charge!) happy na rin ako kasi it took only TWO DAYS!!!

021000021 is for BPI FAMILY BANK ONLY…do not use it for BPI transactions.
010040018 is the bank code for Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
Please note that BPI-FB is different from BPI. Do not believe other websites that say otherwise…

Hi. Thank you so much for posting the bank code of BPI Family. I just added my BPI family bank to my paypal account.
Will I be receiving a notification from paypal that my bpi family bank was added successfully? If so how many days will it be? I got confused, because when I tried withdrawing (from withdrawal area) the remaining monthly withdrawal limit is still zero.
Or am I doing something wrong? What should be the procedure to follow when withdrawing your paypal funds to your bank account?

Thanks for this information. I ask one of the employee for BPI Family Savings Bank in their main office which is located in makati and he said there is no bank code for BPI Family Savings Bank and only BPI has which I really doubt….

I myself needed confirmation on this because I use BPI FAMILY, so I called 89-100 BPI’s Hotline.
They said that 021000021 is for JP Morgan Chase Bank. BPI is 010040018.
And when I checked online, it is true. 021000021 is registered for JP Morgan Chase.
There is also another 010720011 registered for JP Morgan Chase.
I guess it is safe to say that both (010040018 & 021000021) can work according to the posts above.
What I want to know is, are the transaction fees the same using 021000021 or 010040018?

Ok, to make things clear (or clearer). The BPI-Family Bank Code is 021000021. Please DO NOT use any other bank code but this one.
First: Apply for a UnionBank EON card because this is the only acceptable alternative if you don’t have any credit card.
Second: Deposit AT LEAST PhP500 to your EON Card. Remember, your initial payment for the EON card IS NOT A DEPOSIT. This is your membership fee. So put money inside your EON Card.
Third: Attach your EON Card number to your paypal account in order to “lift” your limits. Paypal will “charge” you a certain amount which will eventually be refunded. This is just to make sure that your EON Card is working.
Fourth: Use the BPI-Family Bank Code 021000021 so that you will be able to transfer your funds from PayPal to BPI-FB. You will be charged PhP150 for the transaction so do this sparingly. You can withdraw your PayPal balance directly to your EON card if you don’t want to attach BPI-FB. But they will charge you PhP250. Sayang din ang PhP100.
Fifth: Wait a few days for the transaction to complete. Mine usually takes three to four BUSINESS DAYS so mas maganda if you withdraw on a Monday so that you’ll get it by the end of the week.

This is certainly confusing. For certain, RT 021000021 belongs to JPMorgan Chase. I know because I worked for Chase and I recited those numbers in my sleep.
BPI employees would know this bec BPI has an acct at JPMC and our payroll at Chase is thru BPI. Maybe the BPI 021000021 is another type of number; they call it a bank code for Paypal verification. I don’t know what else it’s used for bec wire transfers use a SWIFT code.
From what I understand, any credit/debit card that has MASTERCARD/VISA (not Maestro or Cirrus) on it can be used to verify a Paypal acct. If it has those significant 3 nos. at the back, you can use it. BDO’s atm card is an example.

Actually, kung may EON account ka na, you dont have to open another bank account sa Union. I used my EON account as bank account, so far for the past 3 years wla naman problem. Paypal charge me 50 pesos if the amount is less tahn 7,000 but above 7000. no charge at all. Eon doesn’t charge any amount regardless of the amount.

This is to provide confirmation and support for the BPI Family savings bank paypal code: 021000021
It is the paypal code for the bank mentioned.
I was able to withdraw my money using this code.
Stubborn BPI Family Savings Staff will even tell you that they don’t have such code and will only tell you of “bank-to-bank” transactions code which needs SWIFT code…
Kudos to this forum is in order…
Mind you, with the technology afforded every Filipino, they are still not aware of the word “paypal code.”
