EON Cyber Account-Paypal-Insular Life Building-Ayala-My memories

This morning I went to Union Bank to claim my Eon Card for my Cyber account which I applied for last week. This will serve as my credit card when activating my Paypal account. I arrived there at around 9:20am. As usual, heavy traffic greeted me on my way to Makati around that time.
The building where Union Bank was located happened to be where my late uncle used to work for as an account executive of Insulife Life Assurance Company then.
The Insular Life Building is one of the first buildings along Ayala Avenue in Makati. This 12-storey monumental edifice at the heart of Makati City used to be the headquarters of Insular Life Assurance company, Ltd. for over 40 years. A historical landmark located at the corner of Paseo and Ayala Avenue fronting the Statue of Philippines Hero Ninoy Aquino.
The building has its new face now with aluminum curtain wall in satin anodized finish with green reflective tempered glass and perforated aluminum composite panels in silver fluorocarbon finish dominates the façade. This is the same building where I first handled a real computer using Microsoft word. My first time was a dos program wayback in college. This is the building where I first typed in my application letter in computerized format. Insular Life is the first company that I applied in for work as a company nurse. I took and passed the examinations it gave. However, the position that I was applying for was not in a vacancy at that time, so I haven’t got the chance to work there.
There are a lot of memories that the building reminds me of. This landmark of a progressive Ayala Street is also landmark of my memories in Makati.
