The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 37,679 out of 91,008 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing last July 3-4, 2010. Imagine, only a little over 30% passed the exam. I hope the schools will evaluate those students enrolling for nursing course if they are really in this kind of healthcare career. I remember the entrance exam I took before just to be enrolled in a nursing school. The elimination we had before the capping was touch and I think almost 20% of my batch mates were not given a chance to pursue nursing course.
The elimination resulted to almost 90% passing rate and even got the top 1,3,6,9 and 19 of my batch mates who were in the top 20. I am happy to belong to the batch that put the entire nursing history of my school having the highest number of topnotchers.

iPhone 4 sold more than 1.7 million in three days after it was launched, breaking the 1-million mark three days after launch of previous models. It made the most successful product launch in Apple’s history. The company even believes that sales could have been higher if they obtained more supplies. It seems that more and more people love iPhone so much. It’s been like a necessity to them that some companies even offer an iphone insurance.
Imagine Apple posting its annual fiscal 2010 ending in June a $ 15.7 billion revenue which also bested its own record. Thus, this made Apple currently most valuable technology company in the U.S. and the second most valuable U.S. company overall reported earnings of $3.51 per diluted share.

If only I have cyberpowerpc coupons I can have the most powerful PC. I remember my first ever personal computer had a 400 KBPS processor, a 4-gig hard drive, 32 MB RAM and 54 KBPS internet speed and I was already contented browsing with that before. Now I have a 1.8 KBPS processor, more than 1 TB hard drive, 2-gig memory and 2MB computer speed and still, I am hoping for more.

It is really hard to move places. It has been just almost eight years from our present place and yet it has been taking me a month of classifying, organizing and choosing things that we can be brought to our new place of residence. We threw away almost half of those things in our house and yet there are still many stuff to discard. We only chose those that are important and give sentimental value to us. Like those trophies, awards and custom koozies and giveaways from places where we work and those that are really not important will go to the garbage boys who I am sure will be happy to get our trash.

There are some provinces in the country that were already declared with dengue outbreak. With thousands of dengue cases and reported deaths, every year the country is experiencing this outbreak problem. And yet people still don’t know what dengue is all about. I remember when I was still holding dengue program in our place, our Mayor called my attention and let me explain why there’s a sudden increase of dengue cases in our city. I explained that it’s the result of our disease information dissemination and campaign. Many people were aware of the disease. Thus, even with slight suspicion they already bring the person to the nearest health center and hospital for check ups. Thus, increasing the numbers of cases in our place occur. The good news is it did not translate to mortality or death.
Its hard to get sick now a days. You’re lucky if you have health savings account but if not, what will you do? An Ounce of prevention is still better than a pound of cure.

I watched Cinema Paradise for more than five times now. We even have DVD copies of it coming from the VHS format that we used to have. Since I already have my LCD TV and HD player. I see to it to have an HD copy of it. I watched it again but it seems like I am watching it for the first time. I love to watch it over and over again.
