Problem in Strumming Guitar

Visit travel and food site, Images and photos: Imahe and Philippines motoring site: Motoph It has been for quite some time that I have not been playing my guitar although I can still play using simple chords. I already forgot those hard ones. It is also hard for me now to tune it up. I know how to tune it up if the problem is only one string out of tune but if it’s more that, it would be a challenge. How I wish I can find guitar center near our place or anybody that knows how to tune it up. Related Topics:

Most Expensive Microphone

The Neumann U87 is the most expensive microphone today. It costs US $1,000. Part of the price premium could be that you’re more likely to see some rock stars and other well-known singers using Neuman U87 in their recording gigs. On the other hand, when you say highly collectible microphone which you can also see in high-end studios, the phenomenal vintage AKG C-12 microphone is the one they likely use. If you have seen the USA for Africa’s “We are the world” music video, you’d see that A&M Recording Studios have used it for that during recording sessions. For me, shure sm7 Microphone is also fine. It is not that expensive but can deliver the best sound as well.

It’s More Fun In Calaguas

It’s More Fun In Calaguas

While people in other countries are now busy buying clothes from Cozy Winters for the winter and product that bring heat to warm themselves, we in the Philippines are still experiencing the height of summer’s heat. Just last week, I brought my family out of town in the island of Calaguas, one of the most beautiful and virgin islands in the Philippines. The island has brought many tourists and travelers, especially during this summer. Staying in the beautiful island resort of Waling-waling Eco village completed our fun.

Eric Clapton Most Expensive Guitar

Eric Clapton Most Expensive Guitar

“Wonderful Tonight” is Eric Clapton’s song in his 1977 album “Slowhand” and is one of my favorite songs of all of his songs. Although he has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all times, many are also wondering if he might be the best guitar player of all time. Guitars that bear his autograph are still the most expensive guitars ever sold. His Vintage Stratocasters cost $959,500, 1964 Gibson ES-335 TDC $847,500, 1939 Martin $791,500 and his Brownie Stratocaster  will cost you $497,500. Fender Stratocasterguitar was sold for $2.7 million in an auction in Qatar in 2005 to raise funds for the ‘Reach Out to Asia” initiative, where in,  Clapton was one who signed that guitar. I wonder how much will be the leslie west mountain pickup if it was certified to be used by Clapton himself?

Home Villa in Subic

Subic is accessible through a 3-hour car drive from Metro Manila. Today, Subic is home to a number of industrial and commercial developments, more known as the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. In spite of this, remains  a place for local as well as international tourists. This place is formerly the site of the United States Naval Base when it was still in the Philippines. As it is no longer in the country, American-style houses have remained to be a familiar fixture, although this time, they were converted to villas for rent. There are two to four-bedroom villas that are ready for occupancy for short and long stay.  They used to be former houses occupied by the Americans,  albeit renovated so they are still pretty much liveable. The room with a grant door hardware for the cabinets is still comfortable and ok. A kitchen is…

Expensive Musical Instruments

We love the music of Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, especially my son. That caused me to search for a mandolin musicians friend. Ever wonder how much is the most expensive mandolin ever sold? As we all know, there are expensive guitars and violins such as this. While it has the same as other musical instruments, the premium was more about as who made it, the quality, condition, how old it is and who played that instrument previously. That’s why it was the mandolin of an American mandolinist, singer, and songwriter who created the style of music known as bluegrass and the Father of Bluegrass Bill Monroe. Top bid was $1.125 million when it was auction in 2001.

Yokohama Philippine GT to stage final race

MANILA, Philippines (30 October 2015) – After 5 thrilling rounds, the Yokohama Philippine GT Championship will head to the Clark International Speedway (CIS) on November 7/8 for the 6th and final round of the 2015 season.   Sponsored by Yokohama Tire Sales Philippines, Inc. (YTSP), the race weekend will see all the drivers in the series’ 4 classes battle it out for their respective titles. Willie Torres in the W-Autosport Mitsubishi Evolution VIII has been unchallenged throughout the year and now holds a 170 points advantage in GT 300. Mathematically, he can now walk away with the title even if he misses the last race.   As for GT 200, only Richmon Dela Rosa and Walter Zamora have a chance at winning the class championship. The 2 drivers are only 2 points apart in the standings with Dela Rosa holding onto a slight advantage….

Guitar Capital of the Philippines

Cebu City is not only known as the Queen City of the South but also the Guitar Capital of the Philippines. This is why I made sure to buy a Cebu-made guitar when I was still into musical instruments. The very thing I saved and wanted to buy when I first visited Cebu City was a guitar. I wonder how the guitar business might be now in Cebu, with all the competition going on? My uncle used to play an electric guitar made of bamboo, and there was no difference in terms of sound and qualitycompared to other electric or mahogany guitar sound.
